What payment method can I use to make my purchase?

We offer the following payment methods: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal.


Is it safe to use my credit card on the website?

Yes, the data is transmitted SSL-encrypted. For payments with Visa and Mastercard only SET transactions (secure electronic transactions) are accepted. After verifying that the card is included in the SET system, the system will contact the card-issuing bank to enable the buyer to authorize the purchase. When the bank confirms the authenticity, the payment will be charged to the card. Otherwise the order will be cancelled. 


Where can I receive my order?

It can be sent to an address selected by you (home or work for example) but we cannot ship to a PO Box. The billing and shipping country must also be the same.


Can the delivery country be different from the purchase country?

No. The delivery country must always be the same country in which the purchase was made. 


How long will my order take to arrive?

Delivery times depend on the type of delivery selected. Orders will usually be packed up and shipped out the same day you order. 


How much do I pay for delivery service?

UK delivery ships recorded first class and will normally take 2-4 days. It costs £4.95 (UK Shipping is FREE for orders over £65)

International air delivery is not tracked, and will normally take 5-10 days. It costs £9.95 (International Shipping is FREE for orders over £120). If you'd prefer to have tracked international shipping, please email us and we will arrange it for you at additional cost.


Can I track my order?

Yes. Your tracking number will be provided in your emailed receipt. The tracking service is provided by Royal Mail so subject to their service provision and terms. 


How do I know what size hat I need?

That's easy. Go to our "How To" page, we have an easy method to measure your head, so you'll know your perfect hat size!


Can I speak to an actual person?

Yes, the best way is to find us on Skype and arrange a call with our team. We can also show you some more of the styles we stock and offer you advice on what designs might be suitable and how to wear. Get in touch with us. We are called 'helloshappos' on Skype.  

If you have a problem with your order that you need resolved, the best thing is to email us on orders@shappos.com - this will be the quickest way to get your query resolved as it connects you directly to our orders department and stock room. 


Are hats in fashion or out of fashion?

We think hats are always in fashion; its just that popular styles of hats do vary each year. 

In the last few years though, wearing hats has become more popular and they are being more regularly worn on the high street. This is partly to do with revivals of 1980's styles which was a big hat decade and also because the quality of headwear design, especially in the UK has been very strong. We commit to bring you lots of great styles at Shappos.com and fuel your passion for great headwear.  

Fashions change but classic styles are timeless. We believe everyone should own at least on great hat in their life. Take a look for yours.
